smallengine.directory ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at smallengine.directory. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We collect minimal personal information and do not sell it to third parties.

Information you give us

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address. If you contact us, we receive whatever information you include in your message. If you claim a shop listing, we collect the contact information needed to verify ownership.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, standard web server logs record your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. We use this data to understand traffic patterns and fix problems. Logs are retained for 30 days.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects anonymized usage data. You can opt out using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies

We use cookies for two purposes: remembering your last searched location (so you don't have to re-enter it on your next visit), and analytics (Google Analytics, described above). We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.
