Cub Cadet Repair Shops Near You
Hard-working equipment for serious homeowners.
Cub Cadet was founded in 1961 by International Harvester as a consumer riding mower line, later acquired by MTD Products and now part of the Stanley Black & Decker family of brands. Cub Cadet makes riding mowers, zero-turns, snowblowers, and walk-behind equipment sold through dealers and home improvement stores. Part of the MTD Products family (Stanley Black & Decker), the XT series riding mowers and RZT zero-turns are popular with suburban homeowners needing more capability than a push mower.
Cub Cadet warranty service is available at authorized dealers who carry MTD/Cub Cadet parts. Key systems β hydrostatic transmissions and electric PTO clutches β benefit from dealer-level diagnostic access. Dealer coverage is strongest in the suburban Midwest and Northeast, with growing presence in the Southeast as zero-turn mowers become the standard for residential properties over one acre.
Mower tune-ups run $60β$100. Riding mower service (belt, blade, filter) runs $100β$200. Hydrostatic transmission service: $200β$400 depending on model. Ask your dealer about the Cub Cadet service program for the XT and Ultima series β authorized dealers receive priority parts access and technical support from MTD that independent shops don't have access to.
